2024 In Review

I sent this message to a girlfriend in February of 2021: "I'm toying with the idea of starting a blog with book recommendations...big emphasis on toying."
That idea stewed in my mind for years before I decided to take the first step. I tried 2 different blog sites before choosing Wix. I changed the name of the blog 3 times. I wrote 5 drafts of my first post before hitting 'publish'. I was so nervous to share my link that I didn't make my post public for 15 days! For something that I wanted to do 'just for fun', I sure stressed out about it at the beginning.
But, as the year went on, I loosened up. If I didn't like a book, I didn't finish it. Didn't get to a book--no problem, I wrote about a different one. When I reached the end of the month and still had 2 books left to finish...I posted a week late. Throughout it all I tried my best to have fun with it, write honest reviews, and most of all, share my love of reading with anyone who took the time to visit my site.
